the blog

We created this site to share our family’s experience navigating the complex world of food allergies and other related health conditions like eczema and Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EOE).

Welcome to Allergy Edit!

Allergy Life, Simplified.

Whether you're navigating food labels, seeking safe recipes, or looking for advice on daily routines, Allergy Edit is here to help simplify your journey and encourage you along the way.

We quickly learned that allergens can lurk in unexpected places – from skincare products to household cleaners, school supplies, and even the very air we breathe.

We’ve faced many fears and challenges that come with managing food allergies. The responsibility of it all can be overwhelming at times. Our hope is that this site will help you avoid some of the same errors and obstacles we’ve encountered in our own allergy journey.

After our son’s diagnosis, we did a thorough ‘edit’ of everything in our lives.

“You’re most powerfully positioned to serve the person you once were.”
